Example of Taxes by Geographic Area

Introducing the taxes.tdb and configuring taxes.

If you require tax calculations by multiple Geographic areas, then check the box below in the Shop Admin Configuration, and create a taxes.tdb in the shop mirror directory

Multiple area tax method. Can be used to supply separate tax rates for separate geographical areas, multiple tax rates for the same area, and tax rates based on the product purchased.

Here is an example of a taxes.tdb for multiple geographic areas:
