Imagine! 1.2 Whats New
----------------------
This version adds Printing of Images and Rotation through Arbitrary
Angles. I have extended the fixed rotations to work with images which
have less than 8 bits per pixel. Arbitrary rotation works for all
pixel formats.

I have looked also at the calculations for image placement in the
Picture Index Maker. This version gives a more even spread across the
page than version 1.1. This looks better, and very long Thumbnail
captions are less likely to overlap into adjacent areas, which saves
you having to change to a smaller font.

Certain kinds of images cannot be turned into thumbnails, because
they are just too small. One pixel wide/high lines are an example.
When scaled below full size these end up with zero width. Instead
of aborting on these and on faulty images, the thumbnail maker now
puts up the caption and an outline where the faulty thumbnail should
be and then carrys on to finish the page. This lets you see which
images are causing a problem so that they can be left out on a
subsequent pass.

The Set as Wallpaper option has been modified to give a choice between
tiled or centered images. I have also fixed a bug in this part which
previously allowed you to try and save nonexistent images. The Set as
Wallpaper option is now grayed out if there is no image being displayed.

The top half of jpeg properties panel now pops up when you decide to
save a Jpeg, giving you an opportunity to set the quality level and
also to choose if you want progressive format.

A new main menu item called 'Edit' has been added, to give room for
future expansion and as a consequence some items from other menus have
been placed under this heading. Users who have got used to version 1.1
may find themselves looking for functions under the old headings for a
while, but I am afraid it was a necessary evil.

Anyone who downloaded version 1.0 and subsequently downloaded version 1.1
will have found that his 30 day trial did not start again. This was
because version 1.1 was released only about a week after version 1.0 and
1.1 was mostly a modification to meet the upload requirements of major
sites. This version resets the 30 day clock for those who want to try it
again.
