- Fonts can now be set for all text items, such as page 
  titles, thumbnail titles, image titles and navigation 
  items. 
- New progress window, which allows interrupting of 
  automatic tasks. 
- Color example preview in HTML design window.
- Different colors can be set for the index and image pages. 
- HTML title tag set to page title for index pages. 
- User selectable HTML file extensions. 
- Multiple browsers can be set to show generated HTML pages. 
- Illegal characters in links and image file names are 
  automatically converted to their hexadecimal values. This 
  allows use of spaces, which are normally illegal URL 
  characters, in file names.
- Version 3.1 provides more stability, uses less resources 
  and repairs several bugs.

- Repaired: 'List index out of range (#)' bug that sometimes 
  appeared when multiple folders with images where opened
  during one session.

- Multiple index pages. A maximum of images on each index page 
  can be specified.
- Support of jpeg, bmp and gif image formats.
- New quicklist navigation option for image HTML pages.
- For the Image pages the page title is automatically set to 
  the image label.
- New options available (e.g. File name without extension 
  and file size) for thumbnail and image titles.
- User definable thumbnail filename prefix and subfolder.
- Bug repaired: Arles did not notice when the case of existing 
  filenames were changed. This caused broken image links and 
  multiple showings of the same image.
- Bug repaired: Incorrect file sizes were shown in titles when 
  the image resize options was selected.
- Numerous other minor modifications and several small bugs
  repaired.

Version 2.1

- Images can now be protected against copying by adding 
  a text label to the images. Users can use this to add, for 
  example, copyright information to the images.
- Arles now recognizes JPEG images containing errors. JPEG files 
  containing errors will be renamed with an '.error' extension.
- Users can now specify index and image file name prefixes.
  If you selected myfilename as an image file name prefix 
  then the image pages will be named myfilename0.htm,
  myfilename1.htm, etc.
- GUI has been reorganized to users wishes.

- Border option added for thumbnails and images.

- Index and image template radio buttons are automatically
  selected when a valid template file has been selected.
