Description
-----------

This program (Advanced Outlook Password Recovery, or simply AOLPR)
can be used to recover passwords to protected Personal Storage
Files (*.pst) used by Microsoft Outlook (all versions) to store
emails and contacts. The passwords are recovered instantly;
multilingual ones are supported.

Requirements
------------

- Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT 2000
- about 600 kilobytes of hard disk space

Usage
-----

The program is a GUI application; you can run it bu just
selecting the "Advanced Outlook Password Recovery" menu item from
the appropriate program group created during installation.
Alternatively, you can double-click on "aolpr.exe" in the folder
you've installed AOLPR to.

The main program window is quite simple, and contains just a few
buttons and status Window.

To open the PST file for password recovery, press the "Open
file..." button (the left one). If the file you've selected is a
valid password-protected Outlook personal storage file, the
following information will be displayed in the status window:

25.11.1999 17:54:03 - AOLPR 1.0 launched, registered version
25.11.1999 17:54:07 - Trying to open 'F:\outlook.pst'
25.11.1999 17:54:08 - Found the password: 'lsLf''

Please note that in some cases, the password recovered by
AOLPR is not the same as the one which has been originally set.
That's due to encryption algorythm used in Outlook -- the
original password is not stored in the file. But that password
(shown by AOLPR) will be accepted by Outlook without problems
-- just try. And of course, after logging into Outlook, you'll
be able to change that password to any one, or just remove it.

For your convenience, when the password is found, AOLPR copies
it into the Clipboard, and allows you to run Outllook; in
Outlook, just put the cursor into the "password" box, and press
Ctrl-V or Ctrl-Ins there to paste the password from the Clipboard
(and so avoid mistyping).

Also note that unregistered version recovers the passwords
which are three characters long (or shorter). To recover longer
passwords, please consider purchasing the full version.

are 3-character or shorter.

After you register (look at "order.txt" for details), we'll
send you your personal registration code. To enter it into the
program, just press the "Register" button on the main screen;
the program will display the small window dialog asking you to
enter the code. If the code is correct, ABPR shows the message
that it is registered now, and so since than it will be able to
recover all passwords regardness the length.

Please note that your registration will be valid for all future
versions of AOLPR -- it means, that they will be free for you.
