PowerMenu Overview

PowerMenu is an animated multi-level menu system for left frames. An unlimited number of entries can be included in up to three menu levels. Each entry may act as a direct link to an Internet resource or as the touch-sensitive switch that opens a submenu. With a number of color and design customization options, PowerMenu can provide a large amount of interactivity and user-feedback. The applet tries to intelligently determine the best position to display each submenu according to your applet's dimensions, and a Testmode feature helps you to judge the optimum size for the applet.

To ease the pain of adding entries and laying out the menu, this system also includes PowerMenu Creator. Creator allows you to graphically add entries to the menu, edit and move them around as necessary, and produce finished HTML at the touch of a button. If Creator's output is saved to a text file, the same file can be reloaded and edited simply at any time in the future. (Creator is a 32-bit Windows utility requiring Microsoft Windows® 95, 98, NT4 or 2000.)

PowerMenu also supports the Cool Focus 'Satellite' system to allow the display of remote messages and/or images, and can optionally use a hand-cursor (in supporting browsers) when the mouse moves over linking menu entries.
