HotStrip Overview
HotStrip is a compact menu-strip designed to sit in a narrow top or bottom frame and aid navigation around a site, allowing an unlimited number of menu-entries. The clicked entry can remain highlighted until the next is clicked, indicating the currently-visible page. All colors and fonts are editable, the optional statusbar message can instead be displayed in the strip itself, and an entry can be nominated to be highlighted when the site first loads. Sounds are supported (mouseover and click), and a click can open up to four pages into four frames simultaneously. HotStrip can be switched easily from top frame to bottom frame by changing a single parameter, and the spacing between entries is completely adjustable. NEW IN V2.0! HotStrip now includes built-in Spytracking support. Now your site navigation system really can work hand-in-hand with your site! HotStrip also supports the Cool Focus Satellite system. (If that link doesn't lead anywhere, you can find out more by downloading the Satellite package from the Applet Downloads area at Cool Focus.) An added UseHandCursor parameter allows compatible browsers to display a hand cursor when the mouse moves over a menu entry.
