Well folks this is it! We're back with a vengeance! Sadly Captain Carnage
has like uhm, disappeared so I'll pick up the pieces from here. My nick is
the Vanilla Crusher. I'll do my best to replace Mr Captain Carnage. First
off, I know just about as much as Captain Carnage did, he DA MAN WOOT WOOT!
After a long break, things within the couriering scene has changed.
Devotion is no longer the best group. It appears that Angels on Drugs have
taken over. The now defunct Dimension split off into Vice and Amnesia.
Earlier we predicted that clearly Amnesia would be the better half. Boy were
we wrong. Vice is OWNING Amnesia. Although the group Rage has merged into
Amnesia. Apparently the impact wasn't as great as it should be. It has
catapulted them to Fourth or Fifth. Though this isn't impressive, maybe
there's more to come?

Group Reviews!
AOD - Rating 8.5/10
------------------
TMF:
AOD did a decent job this week, mostly pre's coming off everyone except for
Faith, who had about 50/50 with pre's and trading. Anyway, Sins sucks cock
and all he does is shoot off his big mouth, even though he wouldn't be shit
without his elite shell and a lot of pre's :). But either way AOD did ok,
they had about enough pre's this week to tie with Prevotion.

TVC:
AOD dominating this week yet again. With most of the group participating
(even gollie trading some) this group has showed us what it takes to be
number one. Though Freakshow and Sins do mad pre's, thats what the couriering
scene seems like today!

DEV - Rating 8.5/10
------------------
TMF:
Prevotion as I lovingly refer to DEV as, did decently this week, I guess
Jaydee did ok <G>. Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of pre's...
so many pre's its almost making me miss Garoto, maybe. But just like AOD,
I guess pre's do the job, DEV did well this week just like usual.

TVC:
Jaydee Jaydee Jaydee, Godbless Godbless Godbless! Do these guys ever stop?
(yes, yes they do, when PFT stops releasing!) Jaydee had a crazy week,
he pre'd everything and managed to weektop all over the place. All together
Jaydee pre'd 11gigs, give or take uhm, 3 or 4 megs of real trading.

VICE - Rating 6/10
-------------------
TMF:
VICE, can't live with them, can't shoot them. Vice talks so much shit to
AMN its almost as bad as MNM vs. DMS, well maybe not, but close. very. Vice
does ok on the sites but they aren't exactly number one everywhere that they
can shoot off at the lip like they do. They need to concentrate more on
keeping their traders mouths shut, because they do a good job otherwise.

TVC:
These guys are in great shape. With Redman and Nailz doing the job, and
GregK being the reinforcement these guys are one solid team. These guys seem
like they are working at full steam without MrPumpkin.

AMN - Rating 3/10
------------------
TMF:
Amnesia got themselves some help last week when they merged with Novocaine's
and Glen's 3 month old group, Rage. This brought in a few traders for AMN,
but so far only one has shown any initiative. AMN is in a dark hole with
a bleak outlook at this time.

TVC:
So where's the big improvement? Only glen weektoping for these guys, it
doesn't look like the merger did much. Maybe they can get the groove on,
or maybe not.

RISC - Rating 6/10
-------------------
TMF:
Is it a coincidence that we haven't seen Eternal for awhile and RiSC has
begun to show consistant life? I doubt it, but whereever Eternal went,
hopefully he will stay away for a long time for the sake of RiSC. Psedo and
Flavor are a good combination of trading combination, all that's missing is
maybe one more person to help fill the missing void.

TVC:
If brain was trading, this group would be kickass. Not quite like the
RiSC of yesterday, tho they are still doing a good job. Pseudo and Flavor
really kickin' it.

The State Of The Courier Scene
By, Marshmellow Fluffer
------------------------------

When I log into sites these days it's hard not to get a little peturbed about
all these couriers we have in the scene today. Not that it is a bad thing,
more competetion is good, but unfortinately most of these couriers have
absolutely no skills. I was talking with a respected member of the games
scene lastnight by chance and we started discussing the state of the courier
scene. He noted to me that it is terrible the amount of pre's that people
are allowed to pre to every single site. We checked the weektop of one of
the most respected sites in the world for a long time and sure enough, spots
#1 thru #4 were taken by all pre'ers. While we have had pre'ers for such a
long time, sadly that isn't the only problem this courier scene faces. With
technology rapidly advancing the internet is now no stranger to incredible
highspeed networks capable of many meg per second transfers. This is also a
plus for the warez scene, but not in all areas if you think about it
carefully. Though I have only been a courier for 2 years, I can still
remember when it took skill, dedication, and damn well some luck to be good.
Today all it takes is a shell on a good box on any 100MBit network,
ie: hut.fi. While yes, the good speeds are a plus for the sites, being able
to handle more traffic at once. On shells, its made it possible for anybody
to become a 'great' courier. That's all there is to this article, it's not a
long one, but it was something that I had wanted to say to the courier scene
public for a long time.

Interview with Glen and Novocaine of Amnesia!
----------------------------------------------
<TVC> Hello, I'm The Vanilla Crusher, hear my nick and PHEAR!
<glen> ok Mr TVC whats all this about
<TVC> I would like an interview with u guys for WER!
<novo> WER COOL! is it back?
<glen> What abouts?
<TVC> yes, it's back. This is concerning the merge you had with Amnesia?
<novo> that a question?
<TVC> no, shut up.
<glen> Hush novo, let him finish
<glen> this is TVC, phear him
<novo> sure, we'll explain everything.
<TVC> ok. How bad of a condition was RAGE in?
<novo> I think, I'll take this one since glen was away for like 2monthes.
<novo> well, it wasn't going too bad. It was mainly a group of friends
hanging. Toddle and Fire had their own shells. They just didn't have
  the time to trade.
<novo> Glen was away, so we didn't show much on sites. I was away for a
little while as well. The group was idling, and so when glen came back
he suggested that we merge with Amnesia.
<novo> I figure, well since I know the seniors and leaders pretty well,
  I'll think about it.
<novo> I talked to a senior and he convinced me. A vote as conducted and
everybody thought it would be a great idea for both groups.
<novo> Rage being the group with potential traders and Amnesia being a
  group with vast resources.
<TVC> I see.
<glen> When i came back I noticed rage hadn't made that much success while
  I was gone
<glen> I wanted to keep the family atmosphere in rage but i also wanted to
give our guys the best chance to succeed invidually, and amnesia was the
  best choice
<glen> The merge benifitted both of us immensely
<glen> And hopefully in the coming future you will begin to see a vast
  improvement in AMN
<TVC> glen, you were the founder and some what leader of rage, why did u give
that up for the sake of the merge?
<glen> Well TVC, I decided it was in the best interests for the group (amn) to forgo any leadership/senior role, I have worked with all these people in the past and the outcome was unfavorable, so to possibly avoid any conflict that may occur, I offered this as a solution
<TVC> I see, that's very noble of you.
<TVC> well then, what are you future plans?
<TVC> and novo, what position did you get?
<novo> I don't want to disclose that information! :)
<glen> My future plans are to help AMN as much as possible indefinately, although it will be tough considering I am going to be getting a fulltime job soon
