1 Install/Uninstall

  To install ActiveSound, just run the "Setup.exe" and follow the
  instructions.

  You can uninstall ActiveSound via the "Add/Remove Programs"
  Control Panel applet. If you get the notification that the
  ActiveSound folder is not empty, be careful when removing it: it
  may contain a .asd files (the database containing sound events)
  which you may wish to keep.

2 Requirements

  Windows 95/98/NT4
  Common controls library (comctl32.dll) must be version 4.71 or later.

3 How to use

  Creating custom sound events.

  1. Add application you want to create sound events for to
     ActiveSound list. You can do it by two ways: First, you
     can drag and drop application shortcut or executable file
     to ActiveSound window. Second, you can click 'New Events'
     button on toolbar and type the location and name of the
     application you want to create sound events for, or, search
     for it by clicking 'Browse' button.

  2. Open properties dialog for application in ActiveSound list,
     select 'Events' page and check events you want to add.

  Deleting sound events.

    lf you want to delete some events for any application, open
    properties for this application, select  'Events' page and uncheck
    events you want to delete. If you want delete all sound events for
    any application, select this application in ActiveSound list and
    delete it with 'Delete' toolbar button.

  Associating sounds with events.

    Click 'Edit Sounds' toolbar button and assign sounds to created events.

4 Registration

  The registration fee for ActiveSound is $15 US.
