Gauge Beans Requirements

The Gauge Beans require Java 1.1. Applets made with these Beans require a Java 1.1-compatible browser or the JDK 1.1 AppletViewer. Similarly, Java applications that use the Gauge Beans require a Java 1.1-compatible Java Virtual Machine.

The Gauge sample applet requires Netscape 4.06, or higher, or Interner Explorer 4.01, or higher to function correctly. They also assume that the swing.jar (from Swing 1.0.3) is in your CLASSPATH.

The Gauge Beans have been tested in these environments:

  Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95, with JDK 1.1.7, Swing 1.0.3 and Swing 1.1.
