Cracked by Hoooooo

Introduction - When it came to run self tests in preparation for the MCSE examinations
I found a number of static HTML pages of questions and some test programs which had
fixed databases of questions. What I wanted was something that would allow me to test
myself and have the computer check my score, and also be able to add questions at my
leisure. As is often the case when I cannot find what I want I wrote my own program
using Borland Delphi.

The Program - The program allows you to add to and edit the question set and then execute
the test showing the question and answer options, maintaining a record of responses and
the elapsed time. In addition the user can view the correct answers, either for checking
purposes as you go or as part of their learning exercise. Each question can optionally
have an associated graphic (exhibit).
The order of both the questions and answer options can be randomised which I find helps
it to be a little more effective as I run them several times.

Download
TestMaster.zip (V3.01, 266 KB) Unzip/Extract files using folder names (will install
in \Program Files\TestMaster) or choose your own location.
This is a new version with a number of improvements/corrections and also enables users
to protect their question sets from being edited/changed by others whilst still letting
everybody run the tests. The latter change means that question sets created with this
version are not compatible with previous versions of TestMaster. There is some backward
compatibility in that question sets created on previous versions may be read, but NOT
edited since those files had no built in protection.

Question Sets

1. Network Essentials (70K)
2. Further sets are in production covering NT4 Workstation, NT4 Server and TCP/IP on NT4

Question sets should be installed in a folder Tests within the main program folder. If
they were unzipped/extracted using folder names they will be
in \Program Files\TestMaster\Tests.
