The available menu items are as follows:

Application - drop menu as follows:

• Show Hints - shows (or not) hints when the pointer is moved over window objects, buttons etc
• Font Size - sets the font size to Small, Medium or Large depending on your preference
• Exit - quit TestMaster

Results - display results summary window, if enabled the Clear button can be used to erase the contents of the results file

Help - drop menu as follows:

• Help Index - show the help page
• About - display the TestMaster about box

The left listbox displays all the available tests in the TestMaster\Tests directory (identified by the .tmq file extension). The right section displays the summary information for the selected file, if any has been provided.

The six buttons along the bottom are used as follows:

• Start - run the currently selected test
• Edit - edit the currently selected question set. Note that this button will be disabled if:
  • the selected test was generated an a version of TestMaster previous to 3.xx (these files had no protection built in)
  • the selected test has had protection set by the author of the question set
• Add - add a new question set. Asks for a name for the new question set, creates an empty file then puts TestMaster in edit mode
• Delete - delete the selected question set. Note that this button may have been disabled in read-only mode
• Help - show the help page (uses the default HTML browser on the computer)
• Exit - exit the program
