1. ABOUT PERSONAL GUITAR ASSISTANT

  System requirements :-

   4 Megabytes hard disk space
   16bit Midi capable soundcard

Hi !! Welcome to Personal Guitar Assistant (PGA) . PGA is designed
to help you with almost every aspect of learning / using the guitar:-
from tuning your strings , to setting up intonation , learning scales
or rock'n'roll chords , as well as practising playing
  to the metronome .
Beginners can use the first chords to start off easily , and
common guitar problems are addressed by the resident help "character" ,
"MR . Guitarman ".(an animated acoustic guitar ! )
This program is supposed to be very easy to use , and as such has
a very easy to use interface . If you get stuck , the information
you require will probably be on the same page . If you can`t see
any help , but MR.Guitarman is visible , click on him for more help.
Hopefully you will find PGA really useful and it will help
you progress with your guitar playing . No messages nagging
you to register are included , and only the print feature is
disabled . I have done this in the hope that people will be
honest enough to register if they like PGA .

ALL FOR THE LOW , LOW PRICE OF 10.00(UK) / $17.00(international in U.S Dollars)
                             (HOW CAN YOU RESIST? )

2. RUNNING PGA FOR THE FIRST TIME

Running PGA for the first time , you will see several main groups .
The groups to the left are the main program sections , the ones
on the lower right are program options / ordering tools .
Let`s say you want to tune your guitar . All you have to do is look
on the bottom right of the screen for "STRING TUNER" (Did you notice
that its in the "Guitar maintainance group " ?). Click on string
tuner and another window opens up . This is the string tuner . Click
on one of the string buttons (positioned on the stylised guitar
image ) and the note will play . Tune your guitar in by turning
the relevant tuning peg (If you do not know what a tuning peg is
then visit the learning room (top right , first button)), whilst
plucking the string , and match up the two sounds . Click again
to stop the tuner sound , or alternativly click on another string
button . If you do nothing and change windows the note / metronome
beat (see the learning room ) will keep beating . This is so you
can compare and practise chords and scales with the background
   sounds playing .
To exit out of the window , click on "done" (at the bottom right
of every tool window ). To quit click on the "quit" button , next
   to "done".
To access scales and chords , choose the relevant button
from the front screen . Then choose a chord scale group from the
top of the screen , and then an individual chord / scale (
Bottom right) . You will then see the chord shape appear in the
box in the upper middle of the screen . If you register , you
will get the ability to print out chords and scales !!!
