Import an image
Import image can be selected from the main menu when your have activated a "glyph edit window".

When you click on the Load button you get an open dialog box where you can open any bitmap. This bitmap will be displayed on the left and there will be an bitmap that is going to be used for the converiosn on the right. There are some filters and other operation you can apply on the source image before starting the conversion. As you can see from the picure above, there has been a "2 pixel dilate" filter that makes the contours get thinner.
Some other settings can be specified on the Import and the Glyph tabs. To know what they mean its best to experiment with them. When you press the genearte button the conversion will start. At any time you will be able to cancel this converiosn. But why would you?
Warning: Don't try to open bitmaps that are to big as this will result in hanging the application! As an indication big is a 1000x500 bitmap. If you really need to use a large bitmap, you can try to copy it to clipboard and paste it in the glyph edit window. This works for small bitmaps as well.
