Distribution Information

Crusader is a 16 bit application that is designed to run on an Intel 386, 486, Pentium (or higher) compatible machine, running Windows 3.1, Windows For Workgroups 3.11, Windows 95, and Windows 98 (a Windows NT version is not available).

The original UNREGISTERED executable or archive for this software may be freely distributed by anyone, PROVIDING that this same executable or archive remains intact.

A copy of Crusaders licence is included in Crusaders directory as a text file.

If Crusader is reviewed by any sites or magazines, then the author would appreciate an email, so that Crusader may be improved further. The author "Simon Knight" can be contacted at: <knight@kagi.com>

Note: The application of BlowFish encryption in Crusader is strong enough to constitute a munition under the United States International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR), and it is not (presently) legal to export a copy of Crusader from the United States (or Canada) to another country. Crusader has been written OUTSIDE of the United States, and there is no problem (as far as the author is aware) with importing copies into the United States or Canada (similar to PGP), but care should be taken to ensure that Crusader (or PGP) isn't accidently exported on a portable computer when travelling abroad. At the time of writing (10/Mar/99), Crusader is legal for use within the United States, United-Kingdom, Canada, and many other countries, but some governments (e.g. middle East) will not permit its (legal) use.

Crusader may be dowloaded from the sites listed on Crusaders web site, and anyone may link their page to any of Crusaders web pages or URLs.

The author will happily include links to any Crusader download sites in the United States and Canada (for United States and Canadian citizens), restricting international downloads (similar to PGP). The author is not subject to United States and Canadian law in any way, but distribution sites located in these countries are.
