THANK YOU FOR TRYING VISITRAX!

VisiTrax is optimized for use by DJs and anyone else needing the fastest
possible access to tracks in their music library. Because it avoids
predefining any categories or media formats (use any names you want),
VisiTrax also can be used to catalog all types of audio/video media such
as CDs, albums, cassettes, DVDs, video tapes, boxes, etc.

The main view identifies tracks meeting user-specified criteria, including
playing times. Other views include volumes (CD titles, etc.), volume contents
(e.g. tracks on one CD), and playlists (lists you can build quickly with
tagged tracks to be played and their start times).

Additional features: simplified browsing and data entry; multi-level
undelete; printable volume lists, volume content lists, and playlists;
implemented in C++, efficient relational database engine built in, with fully
automatic list management; context-sensitive Help and optional pop-up hints.

VisiTrax is distributed as shareware, subject to a 30-day trial use period
during which you can try out all of its features. The database is limited
to 100 volumes and 1000 tracks for nonregistered users. An example music
library file containing several hundred track entries is included to help you
see how VisiTrax performs.

Nonregistered use beyond the initial trial use period is not explicitly
authorized; however, the product will always remain fully functional.

VisiTrax, in its original pre-installed form, is freely distributable.
No restriction is made concerning fees for copying, transmission, or storage.

INSTALLATION:

To install VisiTrax on your computer, just run the vtx104.exe setup program.
The easiest way to do this is to double-click on "vtx104.exe" either from
the Windows Explorer (if you've already unzipped everything), or directly
from WinZip (or a similar unzipping program).

Note: Some early versions of Windows 95 require a small update (a few DLL
files) in order to support standard installation to a directory using
long file names, such as "Program Files". This update is automatically
included with many Microsoft products, including Internet Explorer.
It's not very likely, but if you encounter a problem of this nature
with our setup, please contact us -- and in the interim, try using
an install directory that uses short names (i.e. C:\VISITRAX).

UNINSTALL:

VisiTrax can be removed cleanly via Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs).
