TaskMan - Taskbar Manager for Windows v2.0

Does the taskbar in Windows 95/98 or NT 4.0 annoy you?
Do you get tired of it popping up at all the wrong
times? Taskman is a utility used for hiding the
Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0 taskbar. It is only
activated when YOU decide it should be activated!

If you haven't installed TaskMan at this point,
refer to the install.txt file for installation
details.

The first time you run Taskman, this text file will
be opened first. If you have already read this, simply
close this window and proceed on!

USING TASKMAN:
Using TaskMan is simple. After you click on the icon
to start Taskman and close the reminder window, your
Windows taskbar will automatically be hidden. There
are then two ways to activate and display the taskbar:
(1) Move the cursor to the edge where the taskbar normally
displays, and wait for the amount of time you specified
(or 0.7 seconds, the default). Do not move the mouse
around a lot, or the taskbar will stay hidden. After
the specified time, the taskbar will appear as it
normally does.
(2) Left mouse click any edge of your screen, and the
taskbar will immediately appear.
When you resume normal activity, the taskbar will hide
itself as usual.

TASKMAN MENU CHOICES:
There are only a few menu items to choose from. TaskMan
always minimizes itself into the Windows System Tray (the
small area at the right of the taskbar where the time is
usually displayed). If you click (left or right) on the
TaskMan icon, the menu appears. You can click on the
"Settings" item to change the amount of time you want to
wait before the taskbar automatically appears. The
"Help/Using" menu choice will display this document, and
"Help/About" will display general information about
TaskMan, as well as let you register. Of course, there's
the normal "Exit" menu to close TaskMan.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
If you like Taskman, you can create a shortcut in your
"Startup" menu so it will start every time you load Windows.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Every time (while not registered) you load TaskMan, a
window will appear letting you know how many days are
left of the 30 day free period. After 30 days, TaskMan
will cease functioning. To receive a registration key,
send $10.00 US (cash, check or money order) and your
name and e-mail address through snail mail to:

Earl Bingham
PO Box 122118
Arlington, TX 76012

As soon as payment is received, I'll mail your registration
number to your e-mail address. To input the number, simply
execute TaskMan and choose "Yes" on the first Window, or the
"Help/About" menu item. If you chose "Yes" from the first
window, input the registration number and press "OK". If you
selected "Help/About" from the menu, press the "Resister"
button on the "About" dialog screen. The reminder screen
won't bother you at startup again, and Taskman will not
expire. Make sure to save the registration number in a safe
place, in case of a hard drive failure, etc.
