WorldTimer provides the user with the ability to display multiple clocks using different time zones. WorldTimer was written because I was in contact with people in different parts of the world and needed to keep track of what time it was all over the world.
This is version 1.6 and provides some basic features which 'do the job'. The next version of WorldTimer which is due for release in February / March 1999 will have some more advanced features. If you would like to suggest some enhancements for this program please do so. See Reporting Bugs & Suggestions.
When you install WorldTimer, you can choose whether to add it to your Start menu and if you want you can choose to have WorldTimer start up automatically when you start Windows.
WorldTimer is written by Castle Software Limited.
WorldTimer is shareware. You may evaluate WorldTimer for a total of 30 days free of charge (See License). Thereafter, you are expected to register the product and pay for it (WorldTimer costs US $19.95)
When you first install and run WorldTimer, there will be one default clock displayed. This clock is the Local clock which displays the date and time for the local time zone. This clock can not be deleted and is always the first clock in the list.
To add a new clock, right-click on the tray icon for WorldTimer and choose Configure. This will bring up the configuration dialog :
To remove an existing clock, right-click on the tray icon for WorldTimer and choose Configure.
Note that you can not remove the Local clock.

To change the way the clock display window looks, first right-click on the tray icon for WorldTimer and choose Configure.
Click on the Appearance tab in the configuration dialog. This will display a number of options that you can change :
To force the window to always be on top, check the Always On Top box.
To change the Background colour or the colour of any of the text, click on the corresponding button and then choose from the available colours :
By clicking on the Toggle Map button, you can display a map of the world.
The Time Zones toggle button at the top right of the World Map will divide the map into the world time zones.

WorldTimer is distributed as Shareware. It is not free, freeware,
or in the public domain. You may use WorldTimer for a trial period
of thirty days, at no cost to you, to determine if it fits your needs. If you decide
to use WorldTimer, you are expected to register it and pay the applicable
registration fee. Individual copies of the unregistered version of WorldTimer
may be given to your friends and associates for the same thirty day free trial period.
You may also upload WorldTimer to the public section of a public
BBS.
You may not modify or dis-assemble WorldTimer , nor distribute any modified or dis-assembled versions of WorldTimer. WorldTimer may not be included with any other product without written permission from Castle Software Limited.
Registered copies of WorldTimer can be used on more than one computer at a time as long as no more than one of these computers is running WorldTimer at the same time. You may make backup copies of WorldTimer as necessary for archival purposes only.
