Drag-and drop software distribution for NetWare file servers.

This program requires Windows 95 or later with Novell's client32 installed, or Windows NT 4 or later with Novell's client32 installed. It will not work on either system with the Microsoft NetWare Client, nor on Windows 95 with Novell's VLM client, as none of these clients support calls to the 32-bit NetWare API.

NWCopy has been tested with the latest IntraNetware clients for Windows 95 and Windows NT. If you do not have IntranetWare you can download the latest clients from the client software page on Novell's web site:

http://www.novell.com/download

It should work correctly with earlier versions of the clients but has not been tested with older Client32 software.

NWCopy is year 2000 compliant, For details, please see the relevant section under Basics in the online help file or the README.RTF file.

What's new in this version?
===========================
Registered users can choose not to count source files and directories before copying them. This will save time when copying large server volumes, but will prevent NWCopy from being able to show the overall progress of the file copy (as it does not know the total potential volume of files to be copied).

NWCopy can now be used in a delete-only mode, to remove selected files and directories from multiple servers without copying files.

When pressing Cancel in any of the progress dialogs, you now have to answer a confirmation dialog before the operation is actually cancelled. This is to help prevent accidental cancelling of operations.

The help file now contains a couple of extra topics showing how to use NWCopy to assist with performing hardware upgrades on servers. See the "How do I?" link on the NWCopy help menu.

Installation
============
Unzip INSTALL.EXE into a temporary directory and run it to install the software. For more detailed information about running NWCopy, view the readme file and the online help file. Shortcuts for these two files and for NWCopy are installed by default under Start/Programs/NWCopy. In particular, the "How Do I" section of the online help file contains hints on how to use NWCopy to automate various tasks which would otherwise be very time consuming to do.

Instructions for running the scheduling utility SCHED.EXE are contained in the separate file SCHED.TXT.

Distribution
============
The evaluation version of NWCopy may be distributed freely via BBS, web or ftp sites, and shareware dealers, provided that the original unmodified ZIP file is distributed, or that the unzipped files are placed in an single directory with the name NWCOPY, and with no file added, removed, or modified.

NWCopy may be included into shareware CDs if the ZIP file remains intact or if all files from the ZIP file are provided in a single directory with the name NWCOPY.
