Introduction
============

LetMeType helps you enter text. Running in the background, it analyses
what you type. After some time it has collected enough information to
guess a word after you have typed the first two or three letters. A
list of the most probable words is displayed, and you can select one
with a single keystroke or just continue typing.

This works independently of the program you enter the text into - be
it a word processor, the editor of a development environment or a
dialog box field.

Installation
============

The following files are part of LetMeType:

File              Description
----              -----------
LetMeType.exe  -  The program itself
LMTHook.dll - Must reside in the same directory as LetMeTyp.exe
LetMeType.hlp  -  Documentation
LetMeType.cnt  -  Documentation
order.txt - Information about registering the Shareware version
Changes.txt    -  The program's history
ReadMe.txt     -  This file

Just copy these files to a directory of your choice, like
C:\Program Files\LetMeType, and run LetMeType.exe. See the documentation
for further instructions.

Should you later decide to deinstall LetMeType, just remove the above
files. Expert users also may want to delete the key

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ccl Software\LetMeType

from the Windows registry.

Registration
============

LetMeType is shareware. You may distribute unchanged copies and
evaluate it for 30 days. If after this period you want to continue
using it, you have to register your copy.

During the evaluation period, there are three limitations:

- A note and short delay upon startup.
- Vocabularies may not grow bigger than 100 KByte (about 1500 words).
- Words will be removed if they have not been used for more than 14 days.

Upon paying the registration fee, you will receive a code. This code
has to be entered together with your name and will make your copy of
LetMeType a registered one.

For alternative registration methods, see the file order.txt.
