--------------------------------- TO INSTALL ---------------------------------
Run "setup.exe" from Windows and follow the instructions.

----------------------------------- TO RUN -----------------------------------
A "SLIM SHOW 3.2" icon will be created in the "Slim Show" program group by the
Setup program. Follow regular Windows procedures to run the program. It is
recommended that you run the included Demo project if you are using Slim Show
3.2 for the first time.

-------------------------------- TO UNINSTALL --------------------------------
The setup program in SLIM SHOW can uninstall the SLIM SHOW from your system
for you. To ensure all the installed components will be removed properly,
please follow these steps:

1. Make sure the SLIM SHOW program and the Dictionary Editor program are not
   running.
2. Run the Uninstall program from the SLIM SHOW program group and follow the
   instructions to complete the uninstallation.

Note: The uninstaller is not allowed to remove files created by you, such as
newly created projects and material files. If you have these files in the
directory where the SLIM SHOW program resides, the uninstaller will only
remove the installed files. The user-created files will be left intact.

---------------------------- PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS ------------------------------
* Interactive multimedia maker for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT.
* Forty (40) built-in transition styles for Graphics, with erasing, resizing,
and transparent painting. Supports BMP and JPEG graphic formats. External
visual effects can be produced by arranging Graphic scenes directly.
* Text objects show text strings or text files with various styles. They
support full ANSI character set and TureType text fonts (TTF). TrueType
text fonts (TTF) are transported to target system and then removed after the
  show automatically.
* Graphics transition smoothness, speed and Text marching speed can be
  adjusted dynamically.
* Movie objects play AVI and MPEG movie files.
* Internal flicker-free built-in animation. Allows up to four simultaneous
Animation objects to run with other events.
* Sound objects play MIDI (including RMI) and WAVE audio.
* Built-in text-to-speech synthesizer. Speech objects speak text strings or
text files, with adjustable pitch and speed. Allows use of custom
  dictionaries.
* Text or graphical buttons for users interaction. Supports nondestructive
  and invisible button styles.
* Executes subprograms (other SLIM SHOW projects).
* Executes other Windows programs.
* A Print utility for printing in projects.
* Visual authoring environment allows you to create programs just by clicking,
dragging, placing, and assigning properties. No scripting or programming is
needed. Uses the same authoring environment to create programs, subprograms,
  and animation files.
* Creates standalone, ready-to-run Windows programs with state-of-the-art data
compression algorithm. Fully automatic expanding and playing process at run
time. All temporarily created files are cleaned up after the show. Tiny
player footprint (the multimedia engine only takes 55 KB of disk space for
regular projects). A Self-extracting file can be cut into multiple files for
fitting the transporting media. Self-extracting executable projects are
ideal for distributions in E-mails, diskettes or on Web sites.
* Non-compressing mode builder creates the runtime player and collects
material files. Projects made in this mode run directly without loading and
decompressing. Non-compressing mode is ideal for making multimedia projects
on CD-ROMs, or to run off the harddisk.
* The Stage window can be adjusted automatically to target video size or set
  at a fixed resolution.
* Allows custom text showing on the Loadup screen. The Loadup screen can be
  disabled for making commercial projects.

------------------------- NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 3.2 ------------------------
* Allows projects to include custom icons.
* Allows "Set Volume" option in Sound and Speech objects.
