Perfect Companion v2.3.03 (c) Easy Desk Software

The only Windows 95/98 utility that cleans up after your uninstaller programs.
Finds and removes the errors in the Registry that are left after you uninstall
programs. It can even tell you what files have been modified or replaced,
something uninstallers do not. This utility is like no other. It cleans the
Registry out.

If you have Microsoft's Regclean then you already know that you can not use it
if you have IE40 or Windows 98. And you also know that it only removes what it
thinks is an invalid Class key. And if you use Norton Utilities then you know
that it only cleans the App path key. Perfect Companion does all this and so
much more. Well now you can clean your Registry out completely and safely. Not
only does Perfect Companion remove invalid Class keys, it cleans up much more.
And this is only 1/2 of what Perfect Companion offers. It even takes a snapshot
of your system. Read on.

1. Perfect Companion reads the Class keys and then looks for the associated
file. If the file have been deleted then it removes all the Classes that
   where build by that file.

2. Then it reads all the application paths (App Path key) and verifies the
files. If the file has been deleted the associated key is removed. So far if
you used Norton and Regclean together you have completed steps one and two.

3. Then it reads all the keys that Windows reads on bootup to load files, your
drivers, vxd, dlls , fonts and others. Here again Perfect Companion verifies
every key and every file and then removes the invalid keys.

4. Next step is what Windows should be doing but doesn't. So now Perfect
Companion locates all you existing dll and Active X files and correctly
registers them. No other utility I know does this.

5. The final cleanup step is to now read all the Interface Keys and verify
them, repair or remove invalid keys. 6) Perfect Companion creates an undo
file of all changes. The second utility that Perfect Companion has is
Snapshot. This utility also picks up where your uninstaller program leaves
off. It makes a record of all files before you install a new program. Then
when you rerun Snapshot after the installation it will tell you not only
what files have been added or deleted; but it tells you which files have
   been replaced or modified.

I know you have installed software and then the next time you rebooted all hell
breaks loose on your machine. Well-Snapshot can now help you find the problem.
