1. Requirements
---------------------------------------------------------
Software and environment variable settings required:
- JDK 1.1.5 (or greater)
- Swing 1.0.2 (or greater)
- JDK and Swing set on your CLASSPATH
- JCLASS_HOME set on your CLASSPATH

2. Installation
---------------------------------------------------------
JClass JarHelper comes with the JClass Enterprise bundle, 
and is installed automatically with the rest of the 
bundles products. It is also available for download from 
KL Groups Web site for licensees of any JClass products. 

Installation for Unix:
- Once you have downloaded the file from KL Group's 
site, unarchive the file to your JCLASS_HOME directory.
- The files will be installed as outlined in the next 
section (Files Installed).
- Verify that your environment variable settings are 
correct. This includes the JCLASS_HOME environment 
variable, and the JDK and Swing CLASSPATH references.
- Once the files have been installed, and the correct 
environment variables have been set up, you are ready 
to run JarHelper.

Installation for Windows 95/NT:
- Once you have downloaded the file from KL Group's site, 
executing the file will take you through the installation 
wizard.
- This installation process will set up the JCLASS_HOME 
directory, if it's not already there, and will create 
the icon on the start menu
- Verify that your environment variable settings are 
correct. This includes the JCLASS_HOME environment 
variable, and the JDK and Swing CLASSPATH references.
- Once the files have been installed, and the correct 
environment variables have been set up, you are ready 
to run JarHelper.

3. Files Installed
---------------------------------------------------------
JarHelper is installed in the same directory as the rest 
of your JClass products. Files installed include:

JCLASS_HOME\bin\JarHelper.bat
JCLASS_HOME\bin\JarHelper.sh

JCLASS_HOME\jclass\jarhelper\docs\*

JCLASS_HOME\lib\jcjarhelper350.jar

4. Running JClass JarHelper
---------------------------------------------------------
In order to run JClass JarHelper, you need to have the JDK 
1.1.5 or greater, and Swing 1.0.2 or greater installed 
on your CLASSPATH.

Windows 95 and NT users can run JarHelper by clicking 
its icon in the Start Menu. Unix users can run JarHelper 
by executing the batch file from the command prompt. 
This batch file is found in the $JCLASS_HOME/bin directory.
