------ Search and Extract, extraction of data files -------

Introduction:
Search and Extract is an extraction utility that you can use to extract
different file formats from larger data files as used in most games
nowadays. it's great to copy sounds and pictures from your favorite
game and make desktop themes with them.

Usage:
Search and Extract searches for common file headers in large data files.
These data files can be recognized by their size ( most of the times the
largest file in the game ).

  Ex:
  Quake2 : PAK1.PAK
  Commandos : WARGAME.DIR
  Red Alert : *.MIX

Shareware:
Search and Extract is shareware. You can extract up to a maximum of ten
files per file format, and you won't be able to save/load index files.
When you register this limit will be removed.

Bugs + reporting:

  Current bug(s) :

  - End of files not known, this results in overbloated files ( > 10 megs )
These files are almost certain to be unusable, and better be left alone.
Loading these files with your viewer/players could hang the system. Or the
viewer/player corrects the file to the right size.

If Search and Extract crashes at start-up with "Unexpected Error", General
Protection Fault or "MSVBM50.DLL not found" then download the following
  package, and install it :

  www.noos.demon.nl/vb5setup.zip

This will install the basic files needed to run VB applications.

  Reporting Bugs :

Bugs can be submitted trough E-mail to SAE@noos.demon.nl.
Please send as much information as possible about your system, and the
conditions your were running the program. Also describe when this error
  showed up.

End.
