                  -------------------------------

Ready Address 1.2 - Address Book and phone dialer for Windows.

This README file contains important information about Ready Address 1.2.

VERY IMPORTANT: Before you install Ready Address 1.2, if you
have been using an earlier version and wish to use the same
address and phone number information, you must backup the data
to a temporary sub directory, uninstall the earlier version,
install the new version, and then copy the backed up data into
your Ready Address 1.2 directory. This is by default
    C:\Program Files\Cooper Software\Ready Address. The data files
to be backed up are READY95.*.

Ready Address is shareware, and the zip file you extracted this
text from, in it's original form, is freely distributable.
Note: The world logo used in Ready Address and on the website
has been put in the public domain by Borland, now Inprise. All
other material contained as a part of Ready Address is original, or has
been licensed by the author, and is distributable in the form you
received it, under the terms of each respective license.

Most likely you've gotten your copy of Ready Address from the
internet or BBS in the form of a Zip file. To be reading this,
I would guess that you have successfully unzipped the file and
are ready to proceed with the rest of the installation.

Note: All the files unzipped should be in a temporary subdirectory
          and together.

The first thing you'll want to do is close all other applications
running, then, click Run on the Start menu. Next, type in the
path of the now unzipped Ready Address file Setup.exe and type
the name, Setup.exe, or click Browse and search for the path
    and file. Then click OK.

This will now take you through the rest of the setup process. When
finished you'll want to restart your computer for the Installation
settings to work. Then click on the folder you selected for
Ready Address from your start menu to run Ready Address. The default
    folder is Ready Address.

4. UN-INSTALL ISSUES
----------------------------------------

You are provided with a means to remove Ready Address if unsatisfied with it's performance. This is accomplished by clicking the Start button on the Task bar, choosing Settings, and clicking on the Control Panel. Then, you click on Add/Remove Programs and select Ready Address to uninstall Ready Address from your computer. There is one minor note to be made:

o InstallShield will not check to see if your
application is running when you try to un-install, and may leave
some files on disk. To avoid this problem, make sure that you
shut down your application prior to un-installing.
