Novell NetWare 3.11/ 3.12 (with extensive disk space)
  NT Advanced Server 3.5
  Novell NetWare 4.1
  IBM LanServer 4.0

Why Use a Lotus Application on a Network?
----------------------------------------

There are many advantages to using Lotus
applications on a network.

   * You conserve hard disk space by storing a single
copy of an application on the server instead of
storing a copy on each personal computer.

   * You allow users to share files, computer equipment,
printers, backup devices, and other network
      resources.

   * You can quickly distribute files, templates, and
applications. Users can access files immediately

   * You can easily support workgroup applications
      such as customer tracking.

   * You can back up files centrally.

   * You save time when upgrading to a new release
because you upgrade the software once (on the
server) instead of updating the software on each
      individual computer.

   * You can set up diskless workstations.

If You Have a Problem
---------------------

PROBLEM: When a user clicks the icon to start a Lotus application,
an error message indicates the path is invalid or the file can not
be found.

SOLUTION: Check the drive letter specified for the Lotus application
icon. (Click the program icon and choose File Properties from the
Windows Program Manager.) Make sure that the drive letter in the user's
network connection to the Lotus program directory is the same drive
letter specified for the Lotus application icon, or change the
properties of the icon to use the drive letter specified in the user's
network connection.
