1. FIRST TIME USE:
Several QCD options are disabled by default. Be sure to
customize QCD to your liking by setting the Startup/Shutdown
and GUI Options. These options are under 'Properties' in the
window menu.
Also be sure to view the 'Using Quintessential CD' section of the about
dialog. It has many tips, hints and help. This section is
under the 'QCD...' option of the window menu.

2. CDDB SERVER SETUP:
To set up CDDB servers, click the upper left corner of
the QCD window and choose "Properties->CDDB Servers".
If you are currently online you can click "Get Servers"
to retrieve the latest list of CDDB servers located around the
world. After a few seconds the list will appear. If you are
not connected, or the list retrieval fails, you can enter a
server manually.
To enter a server manually, enter the server domain name
in "Server Name". The port for CDDB servers is normally 888 or
sometimes 8880. After entering the name and port, click "Add".
The server will appear in the list.
To get you started, a popular server is:
	Server Name:cddb.moonsoft.com Port: 8880

Make sure one of the servers has 'Yes' under the default
column, in order for that server to be used. Choose a server
and select "Set Default" to enable that server. Choose Ok to
close the window.
Now open the QCD window menu again and choose "CDDB->Query CD"
to start QCD finding your current CD. I a few seconds the CD
and track names will appear in the main display.

If when trying to query CDDB servers QCD normally fails,
try using a different server. A slow server or garbled
communication between QCD and the server can result in queries
failing.

3. QCD DATABASE FILE:
The file QCD stores all download cd information, qcd.qdb,
is a file emulating a file system. Any modifications to the file
not made by QCD, will most likely render the database useless.
Therefore, do not modify this file by hand!
Aside: For the inquisitive, the database file follows the Quake
*.pak file specs.
