Kagi is a money collection company. They accept cash, money orders, credit cards (Visa,
MasterCard, etc.) and have a Secure Web Ordering Form. See http://www.kagi.com for more
information and for answers to frequently asked questions. ShareIt is another collection
company. Because they charge higher fees, I ask that you use Kagi except for Bank Transfers.

License Information
-------------------

Licensing will be on a per computer basis. Everest will generate a unique registration code
that you will copy and paste in the online order form. You will receive a unique key that will
enable Everest on your computer. This cookie will only work on the computer that
generated the original cookie. If your computer crashes or somehow gets corrupted, you can
obtain another key from MTL Software for free if you are registered. You can also get
a second key if you need a key to install under Windows NT. You can contact MTL Software
(mtlsoftware@kagi.com) for such a special arrangement after you have registered.

The registration code contains the following encrypted information: user name as determined
by Windows 96 registration, computer name, and time stamp. This information is re-encrypted
in the key. Thus you can only use the key on a computer with the correct user name and
computer name. If you change your user name or computer name, then you will need to get
a new key. Please contact mtlsoftware@kagi.com directly for more information.

Registration FAQ:
-----------------

Q: If I reinstall Windows, will I need a new key?

A: Probably not, if you don't change your user name or CPU name. But if you do, then just
write me (mtlsoftware@kagi.com) and I'll send you a new one.

Q: What happens in 5 years and I need a new key and I can't find MTL Software anymore?

A: Everest will become public domain when I decide to stop supporting it. At this point, I
will make a freely distributable version with no registration requirement.

Q: My computer that I use for music is not connected to the internet. Can I register still?

A: Yes of course. You only need to copy the key as a text string from the computer you use
for email to the computer you use for music. The easiest way is to save the string in
a text file on a floppy disk.
