What is CSM Mail Server ?

CSM Mail Server 95/NT is an Internet Mail Server which implements the
SMTP and POP3 protocols. 

POP3 is used by the workstations on which a "User Agent" is installed 
to transfer the messages from the server to the user agent. 

SMTP is used for everything else including the transfer of the 
messages, in both direction, between the server and Internet.

What are its functions ?

* FIREWALL is usefull to reject unwanted calls to the SMTP server.
* ANTI-SPAMMING is usefull to reject unwanted messages.

VIRTUAL & SECONDARY DOMAINS + ROUTE + TRANSFER + MANAGE + DISTRIBUTE

* To define VIRTUAL DOMAINS which are physically manage by the 
  server itself.
* To define SECONDARY DOMAINS which are physically managed by the
  same or another server computer.
* To ROUTE (send or receive) messages between itself and the Internet.
* To ROUTE (send via SMTP) received message to the secondary domains.
* To TRANSFER (send or receive) messages between itself and the
  worktations attached to the local area network (LAN).
* To MANAGE the user mailboxes.
* To DISRIBUTE the messages in the mailboxes.
* It can be installed behind a Firewall or a CSM Proxy server.

There is no usage limitations but the capacity of the computer on 
which it is installed. 

You can create as many virtual or secondary domains and as many Email 
accounts as you want.

How to evaluate it ?

1. Download the software from http://www.CSM-USA.com
2. Get an evaluation key from http://www.CSM-USA.com/evalkey.htm
   (temporary license). This key will remain valid for 30 days 
   following the key generation.
3. Install the software.

How to install it ?

To get context sensitive Help, simply press the F1 function key.

Configuring CSM Mail Server 95/NT is straightforward: 

- Select 'Server, Settings' to set up the main server parameters.
- Select 'Server, Mailbox' to create your user accounts and enter
  the corresponding addresses and aliases.
- Select 'SMTP/POP3, Settings' to configure the TCP/IP communication.

At this point you are ready to use CSM Mail Server 95/NT.

After that you can look at the other dialog boxes to specify advanced
parameters.
