				Bug Report
                                ----------

Ok, the most important thing you need to know is that when the
program adds the key to your registry so it can find its virtual device
driver it automatically assumes you installed Windows95 in "C:\WINDOWS". If
you don't have Windows95 installed on drive C: (like me) or in the directory
"WINDOWS" (maybe windoze or winblows?) then you need to use regedit and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\SHRED\
StaticVxD Key Data: "c:\windows\system\shred.vxd" and change it to whatever
it needs to be for your system. The second most important thing is that you
really need to read the manual for this program because you need to be able
to accurately gauge the level of intrusion you're trying to protect yourself
against. Think of this program like an encryption program; you can learn how
to operate it but if you don't know how to implement it correctly it doesn't
provide any more security than if you weren't using it at all because you
wind up creating your own backdoors.
Anyway, thirdly you need to know that if you select the option to NOT
run Shredder at startup (so the icon doesn't load into your system tray)
most of the features of the program will not be available to you (overwriting
individual files, the panic keystrokes) so you should make sure you check off
that option. And finally, you will not be able to restart the computer into
MS-DOS mode unless you hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and then End Task while looking at
the Shredder Activity Log (of course in this case your swap file won't be
wiped). L8r.
