# Hermes (POP3 client) V 1.0

Hermes is a small mail program that can connect to your mail server. You can see the
message sizes before retrieving them with your favorite mail program. It enables you to
delete messages you do not want. You can also see the source of message headers, so you
know who is the author of the mail. Some (or all) of text of the message can be seen, to
enable you to decide whether to accept or delete. This program supports many e-mail
accounts.

# How to use

First of all press the new button to add your POP3 acount information:

Enter a name for your acount. For example: myjob
Enter your POP3 server. For example: mail.your_ISP.com
Enter your Username. For example: nsiolios
Enter your Password for this acount. For example: ermis

optional you can set the timeout to more milliseconds if your email acount has a low
response.

It keeps this information in the registry so anyone with access to your computer will be able to see your password

Press the connect button to connect to your POP3 server and see your email headers. After
this you can disconnect (in order to connect to anoother server) or you can click on:

Source to view the source of the headers.
Show to see a checked message. If the message is more than 5Kb it will ask you how many
lines you wish to see. In this case if you wish to see the entire message enter 0.
Delete a message from the server.
Exit the program.

Also in the show message box you can save the email as text.

This program works only with plain-text emails. So it can not save binary attachments
