noRemove is a simple utility written by Green Man Multimedia Services which
fools Windows 95 and Windows NT into thinking that your removable drives
(Zip drives, Jaz drives, magneto-optical drives, and the like) are actually
fixed hard drives. This can be useful since many programs will not operate
correctly with removable drives, including some versions of Matrox
installation utilities, DriveSpace, and many others.
This program will not fool programs like FDISK that talk directly to the
computer's BIOS. The only way that this can potentially be accomplished is
through your controller's setup program. But it may be able to rescue you
from several otherwise frustrating situations.

To install this program, simply run the program SETUP.EXE from this archive.

noRemove is "non-enforced" shareware (not crippleware). I ask that if you
use it regularly that you send me US $15 for my labours - especially if you
have feature requests/suggestions/gripes/etc. I'm a lot more likely to
make your changes if you've registered the product... :) Let your
conscience decide what is considered "regular use".

It may also be a good idea to contact me before you attempt to send me
money; I do move around from time to time. The e-mail address listed
below should be good until POBox goes under or the last trump, whichever
comes first.
