Buried in Time Animations

These animation clips from the photorealistic interactive adventure game Buried in Time were provided by Presto Studios. Adobe Photoshop was used for rotoscoping, to add the bolts of electricity in the "Time Travel" clip and the explosion, smoke, and cannonball in the Cannon clip, as described on pages 282 through 284 of The Photoshop 4 Wow! Book. You are welcome to view these animations for your own enjoyment, but you may not use them for any commercial purposes. They are the copyrighted artwork of Presto Studios.

To view each of the animations, first copy it to a hard disk. Then open the Adobe Premiere program (a try-out version is provided in the Adobe Demos folder on this Wow! CD ROM) and choose the default Presentation - 160x120 from the list of Available Presets. Then choose File, Open and choose one of the two Presto animations from the copies on your hard disk. In the lower left corner of the Clip window, click the right-pointing arrow just to the right of the little red square to play the animation. To find out more about Buried in Time or The Journeyman Project, the first photorealistic game in the series, call 415-286-6100 or fax 415-286-6115.
