Handbook of Latin American Studies Online (HLAS Online)

The Handbook is a bibliography on Latin America consisting of works selected and annotated by scholars. Edited by the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress, the multidisciplinary Handbook alternates annually between the social sciences and the humanities. Each year, more than 130 academics from around the world choose over 5,000 works for inclusion in the Handbook. Continuously published since 1935, the Handbook offers Latin Americanists an essential guide to available resources.

Country Studies/Area Handbooks
A continuing series of books prepared by the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress under the Country Studies/Area Handbook Program sponsored by the Department of the Army.
POW/MIA and Task Force Russia Databases
This database has been established to assist researchers interested in investigating the U.S. Government documents pertaining to U.S. military personnel killed, missing, or imprisoned in Southeast Asia during or after the conclusion of American involvement in the Vietnam Conflict. The title of this collection is "Correlated and Uncorrelated Information Relating to Missing Americans in Southeast Asia." The Federal Research Division also maintains the documents from Task Force Russia, the attempt to locate Americans thought to have been held in the former Soviet Union.
