Melody - another one of my programs, that is very easy to use.
This program is intended to be used for listening to large sequences
of WAV, MPEG, MIDI files or audio CD's.

It can used to play a cycle of all of the audio files from one
folder. The navigation of files and disks is simple, 2 mouse buttons
are used:
One click by the left button opens a disk or folder, and also starts
playing a song. Clicking the right button in any place takes you up one
level of the folder tree, up to the list of drives. Double-click is
not used and you do not need to search for the exit button from the
current folder.

The displays for song, mode and time along with buttons for forward,
rewind and stop are also clear and convenient. You can also use the
keyboard cursor keys to move between songs and to rewind. This is also
really handy if you have the monitor switched off. You don't need
to use the mouse.

From version 1.4 there is the ability to create song lists.
It is possible to add any comments you like to these lists.
When 'Melody' encounters one of these comments it will continue and
search the next song. Thus it is possible to create a list for compact
discs, on which songs have the names of a type:
123.vvs or 1_1982_3_lalala.WAV.

An example of this onscreen information could be:

MADONNA
The first album. 1982

Lucky Star
Borderline
Burning up...

Press 'mld' button in any folder with audio files.
The program will create playlist. Then you can add and to delete files
from this playlist and to change their order.
Playlists are kept in a files with type *.mld.

One more feature - switching off unnecessary songs from the list.
Simply click on its icon, it reddens as if with shame and this song
does not play. To undo this simply click on the icon again.
