TapeWare 6.00 Release Notes July 16, 1997
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This document lists the known problems and changes to TapeWare 6.00
that were made after the documentation was printed.

Documentation Corrections
-------------------------
1)	The printed documentation does not contain any information about the
"Instructions" command for scheduled jobs. The Instruction command
allows you to view or print a list of media and devices required for
upcoming scheduled backup jobs. This command is available from the
Tools menu option or the directly from the toolbar on the Queue tab.

The online help system does contain information about the Instructions
command. Search for "Instructions" on the Index tab of the TapeWare
	Help window.

Known Problems
--------------
1)	When using NetWare 4.11, the CLIB that shipped with the release of
this version contains a bug which does not release all resources.
If you receive a warning about Small Memory Allocations when exiting
from TapeWare, you need to download the IntranetWare Support
	Pack v3.0 or later.

The Novell document number to refer to is 2926663 at www.novell.com.

2)	Under Windows 95 using Microsoft NWLink IPX protocol driver,
communication errors can be caused by an excessive number of dropped
packets going in to the workstation. If you are using the Windows
95 machine as a device server, we recommend either using the Novell
Client 32 or using TCP/IP for your communications protocol.

The problem is caused by an inability of NWLink to receive a
large number of packets from the network and process them quickly
enough within the protocol stack. Under Windows NT, this problem
	does not occur.
