Install the ZipCodeBarcode font like any other TrueType or Type 1 font. Use
the Control Panel/Fonts from the Program Manager to install the TrueType
font. Use the ATM Control Panel to install the Type 1 font.

ALWAYS FORMAT THE BAR CODE TEXT IN THE ZIPCODEBARCODE FONT SET TO 9 POINTS.

Use the POSTools utility to calculate the necessary check digit when creating
a POSTNET bar code. Simply enter your ZIP code, click OK, copy the string
to the Clipboard, and then paste it into your application. This string, when
formatted in the ZipCodeBarcode font, will make a POSTNET bar code symbol.

To calculate the check digit manually, or from within another application like
a database, simply add up all the digits in the ZIP code and then determine
what number must be added to the total to make a multiple of 10. For instance,
our ZIP+4 is 98116-0745. 9+8+1+1+6+0+7+4+5=41, therefore our check digit is
9 (41+9=50).

A POSTNET bar code using the ZipCodeBarcode font is of the form:
s123456789cs where 12345-6789 is the ZIP+4, c is the check digit and
s is used as the start and stop bars (frame bars).
Again, for our ZIP+4 (98116-0745), we would format "s9811607459s" in the
ZipCodeBarcode font at 9 points.

The three Facing Identification Marks (FIM bars) are included as Encapsulated
PostScript (EPS) files and TIFF files. They are the size of the symbol plus
its clear zone. Do not resize them.
