-- Description: Event Organizer is a shareware program for
Windows 95 to help you organize your daily events. Using
it, you can be reminded of special dates (such as
birthdays or anniversaries), maintain a list of to-dos,
   and/or keep track of appointments.

-- W A R N I N G: In order to reduce the size of this install
program, MSVBVM50.DLL is no longer being included.
Therefore, you must insure that MSVBVM50.DLL exists in
your c:\windows\system subdirectory (c: is drive usually
the drive Windows is usually installed on.), and that it is
at the 05.00.4319 (SP2) level or later (you can right click
on its name using Explorer and view its properties).

If you find that you need MSVBVM50.DLL, you can
download it from our web site (see below). Download the
file named msvbvm50.zip, and unzip it to your
c:\windows\system subdirectory (c: is drive usually
the drive Windows is usually installed on).

-- If you are have a previous version of Event Organizer
   currently installed, you should:
   1) Backup your event set files (files with BKd, EOd, EOo
and Log extensions). This is just a precautionary step-
your event set files should remain undisturbed in the
   subdirectory where they reside.
   2) Uninstall the previous version of Event Organizer by
   using the Add/Remove Programs facility.
   3) Install the newer version by running the Setup.exe
and following the setup program's instructions.

-- What's New In V1.08: The major change in this release is:

Event Organizer now utilizes two threads- one for the
main program itself and a second (new) thread which is
solely used to operate the alarm timer. This provides
substantially more independence to the alarm timer, and
greatly enhances the conditions under which an alarm
   condition can be detected.

-- Special Hardware Requirements: A functioning sound
board is required if alarms are expected.

-- See the ReadMe.txt file for additional information.

Remember to visit our web site occasionally to check for
the availability of a later release of the program.
