Installing Velocipede (TM) 3.2.1
--------------------------------

1.
Since you are reading this file, you have already unzip'ed VELO32.ZIP.
This file contain only four files:

    VELO321.ZIP
    SYSTEM.ZIP
    BUGREP.TXT
    INSTALL.TXT
    REGISTER.TXT

I will advice you to create a directory where you store these files,
e.g. C:\VELO (the Velocipede directory).

2.
If you already have installed a erlier version of Velocipede, you can
skip this point.

After you have placed all the file in the Velocipede directory, you
need to install the files that Velocipede requres. The file SYSTEM.ZIP
contain a few files that need to be placed in the the windows system
directory (e.g. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM or C:\WINNT\System on a NT machine).
These files are:

    GRAPH.VBX
    GRID.VBX
    THREED.VBX
    CTL3D.DLL
    MFC250.DLL
    GSWDLL.DLL
    GSW.EXE

To install these files, unzip the SYSTEM.ZIP file and move the files
to the windows system directory.
If some of the files already exist in the windows system directory, you
should move a file only if the file in the system directory is older
that the file supplied with Velocipede.

Note for old users of Velocipede: Version 3.2.x does not longer use the
file MFC200.DLL. The file MFC250.DLL is now used.

3.
To install the program files, just unzip the VELO321.ZIP file in the
Velocipede directory. The zip file contain the files:

    EXAMPLE1.VLO - Velocipede example file
    EXAMPLE2.VLO - Another example file - bigger!
    VELO.EXE - Velocipede program
    DMGS.DAT - Used by Velodipede
    DMTS.DAT - Used by Velodipede
    ACLS.DAT - Used by Velocipede
    VELO.HLP - Velocipede help file
    VELO.INI - Sample VELO.INI file.

4.
If you want to use the supplied VELO.INI file you should move or copy
this file to the Windows directory (e.g. C:\WINDOWS). If you
use this file, you should edit it, since some of the lines may contain
incorrect data for your system.

5.
Add Velocipede to a program group window. You can do this by using the
File Manager. Go to the Velocipede directory, select VELO.EXE and drag
it to a group window and drop it. The Velocipede icon will appear in the
group window. Try to start Velocipede by double clicking on the icon.

Note that Velocipede is a shareware program. You may use the program for
a short time for evaluation. If you intend to use the program on a
regular basis, you should register you copy of the program. For more
information, see the help file.
