System Requirements:

   Windows 95 or NT 4.0
   386sx or higher processor
   12 MB RAM (16 MB recommended)
   10 MB HD Space
   Mouse
   Standard Internet Connection: TCP/IP standard
    socket level connection. Works with but not
    limited to Windows 95 dialup adapter,and
    America Online's 3.0 and 4.0 for Windows 95
    Software.

Installation Instructions:

1. Unzip the file (websm140.zip) to an empty directory
    with any decompression program which handles
    .zip files.

2. Run setup.exe.  The program will install WebCam Sam and
    create a program icon.

3. Click on Start and go to Programs and click on the
    WebCam Sam icon to start.

America Online Setup Instructions:
-------------------------------------------------------
In order to use WebCam Sam with America Online you will 
need to use America Online's 3.0 or 4.0 for Windows 95
software. If you installed AOL from a disk you probably
have the America Online's 3.0 for Windows software which
will have to be upgraded to the America Online Windows 95
software version.

To check what version of America Online software you have
double click on the AOL icon and go to help on the main 
and select about. If you see that the software is listed
as America Online 3.0 for Windows 95 you can go ahead and
use WebCam Sam.  If it is listed another version you will
need to upgrade your AOL software.

To upgrade the AOL software. Dial into AOL and once connected
go to Members in the menu and select member services. On the
member services menu select 'Software And Tools'. Double on
'Download the Latest and Greatest Version of AOL'. Click on
the 'Update Now' button and follow the on-screen download
instructions.

Reconnect to AOL using the new AOL software.  Once your connection
has been established to AOL, you can start WebCam Sam.

    1. Fixed problem which resulted in blank rows in the Default
       Camera List.

Version 1.10:
   August 24, 1997:
     1. Added support for streaming webcams. To see streaming webcams select
         'Show Streaming WebCams Only' from the main menu and click on a 
	 camera in the list. Wait for the camera image to load. Once the
	 picture loads click on the image to see the zoom form which will 
        show the video stream.	     
     2. Under 'File' in the main menu the 'New Camera List' Selection 
         was added. This allows you to create a new empty camera to add 
         your own webcams. 
     3. A 'Cancel' button was added to the 'Update Camera List' form. 
     4. Backup servers were added for the Default Camera List. 
     5. New documentation was added to the readme.dat file for the
         requirements to use WebCam Sam with America Online. 
     6. A bug was fixed which prevented some webcam .jpg images from being
         displayed. 
     7. A bug was fixed in the Remove Camera Button. 
     8. A bug was fixed in the Add Camera form with the refresh rate combo box.
