Thankyou for evaluating the Moving Map Instrument for
Flight Simulator 95 and Flight Simulator 98.


IMPORTANT FOR USERS OF PREVIOUS VERSION 1.x

The file format for MMP files has changed. Any MMP files
you have created should be re-created using the new 
Moving Map Tool (mmaptool.exe) supplied with version 2.

Some HOTKEY keystrokes have changed from version 1.x
Please see the help files or view the keys.txt file
for a summary of new keystroke commands.

  mmaphost.exe (used for Moving Map REMOTE mode)
  chicago.mmp (used in the quick start tutorial)
  fs6ipc.dll (used to communicate with Flight Simulator)
  help.zip (help files)
  keys.txt (quick reference for keystroke and mouse commands)
  editor.txt (quick reference for Moving Map Tool Editor)
  readme.txt (this file)


Installation
------------
1. Copy mmap.exe, mmaptool.exe, mmaphost.exe and chicago.mmp to
   the directory of your choice
2. Copy fs6ipc.dll to your flight simulator\modules directory
3. Unzip help.zip to the directory of your choice


Help Files
----------

The help files included in this archive are in HTML format. This
means you will need a web browser to view them correctly. Once you
have unzipped the help files, load the file MAIN.HTM into your browser.


Getting Started
---------------

Please take 10 minutes or so to have a read through the help files. If
you want to get up and running quickly to see what Moving Map can do,
read the QUICK START tutorial located in the help files.


Shareware
---------

This program is shareware. Please distribute it to whomever you
think may be interested. Read the enclosed help files for all the
details on registering this software.

  - Added, Double clicking on task tray icon will now restore Moving Map window.
  - Added, Ability to show/hide the Moving Map display. (Use CTRL+SPACE)
  - Changed, Hotkey activation key from SPACE to SHIFT+SPACE. This was causing
    some problems as the space key is needed for other functions.
  - Fixed, Bug with VOR and NDB information not being displayed correctly.
  - Fixed, Invalid floating point error on some machines when loading MMP files.
