           the NetBar version 2.2

1. First run install.exe... If you have already done this skip this point
2. Then copy all the files to a folder of your choice.
3. Create a shortcut to Netbar.exe...
  * At your desktop,
  * Somewhere in the start menues, or
	* Use the automatic launch at starting Win95 on the Style page in the program

And the NetBar v.2.2 will be installed !

Please note:

1. The NetBar is distributed in one ZIP archive file.. this file should include:
  * NetBarX.exe or NBX_demo - the main program file
    ( The X denotes the language version.. - or is nothing for the original English version)
  * Lights.exe - a helper program file
  * Install.exe - a simple installation program
  * Remove.exe - a simple program to remove the NetBar registry settings and
    to 'tidy' in the system directory.
  * Install.txt - this file
	* New.txt - a small text file describing new features since v.2.1
	* NB22.hlp - Help file
	* NB22.cnt - Help CNT file
  * WEBDial.exe - Help file WEB dialer...

2. If you have used a previous version of NetBar:
  Please note that this version has got some important new features which makes it
  neccesary to run the installation program for these features to work.

3. If you get a report from the installation program that something failed:
  This indicates that this simple program ran into problems - this does not mean that something
  is terribly wrong - the most probable cause is that it did not find one of the files.

  You will then have to install the lights.exe program manually:
  a. Locate your system directory - this will usually be c:\windows\system
  b. Look for 2 files:
    * lights.exe
    *  __lights.exe
  c. If __lights.exe exists this will be the original Win95 file... If not - and lights.exe
     does NOT have the NetBar icon - rename the lights.exe file to __lights.exe
  d. When this is OK take the lights.exe included in the Netbar ZIP file and copy to the
     system directory.

  A brief explanation follows for 'techno freaks': Some functions in the NetBar relies
  on that the Win95 program lights.exe is replaced by the NetBar helper program with the same
  name. But the original program must also be present - so this should be renamed to
  __lights.exe

  To distinguish the two please note: The original lights.exe has got an icon showing a small
  modem with connecting lines - mainly in gray color. The NetBar version has got the same icon as
  NetBar.exe...

4. If you decide to remove the NetBar from your PC run the remove.exe program. This program will
  a. Remove all settings from the Windows95 registry
  b. Delete the NetBar version of lights.exe from the system directory and then rename
     __lights.exe to lights.exe to restore how the system was before installation of NetBar.

5. About the install & uninstall programs...
  The install.exe and remove.exe programs have been kept as simple as possible. This is to
  make them as small as possible to minimize download time...

  Although this is not as fancy as the more 'common' installation programs I feel - since
  all distribution of the NetBar is done by Internet - size was more important than looks :-)
