INSTALLATION

The program disk contains the setup program for installing the VB Bridge environment on your Microsoft Windows NT server running Internet Information Server. When you run the setup program, the files necessary to run VB Bridge and the sample programs will be installed in the Scripts directory of IIS.

If you are using Windows NT Server 4.0, the default directory for IIS is Inetpub. The VB Bridge files will automatically be installed in the \Inetpub\scripts\vbbridge2 directory. If you need to change the install directory, you may do so during the set-up process.

The setup program will install the following files:

\Inetpub\scripts\vb_bridge2\vb_bridge2.dll
\Inetpub\scripts\vb_bridge2\vb_bridge2_test.dll
\Inetpub\scripts\vb_bridge2\convtosjis.dll
\Inetpub\scripts\vb_bridge2\bin\vbbridge2.bas
\Inetpub\scripts\vb_bridge2\sample\ (sample programs)
