Seeing how many hours a resource works each day over a period of days, weeks, or months can help you see when a resource has too much or too little work, but not which tasks the resource is working on. The improved Resource Usage view not only shows the total number of hours worked by each resource in a given time period, but breaks down those hours by task. You can see at a glance the portion of time a resource is working on each task and which tasks are overloading the resource.
