Introduction

When you’re creating a project plan, it’s easy to accomplish the first step: simply enter a list of tasks in the order you expect them to be done. But if you don’t go on to the next step, Microsoft Project does not actually schedule one task after the other, as you might expect. In fact, if you stop here, all your tasks will have the same start date.
