3. NEW FEATURES / BUG FIXES
---------------------------

   Features:
   ---------

   Version 1.34

* The SurfWatch Option now also filters news groups.

   Version 1.31

* LanBridge now has support for the SurfWatch filter option.
Please refer to the LanBridge Administrator on-line help
   for further details.
Please note that not all versions of LanBridge has this option
   enabled.

   Version 1.30

* The LbSwitch application used to temporarily disable LanBridge
now supports dynamic switching. There is no more need for
closing all network applications before enabling/disabling
   the Internet LanBridge.
* The LbSwitch application now also runs on the server PC. Here
it may be used for enabling/disabling the client part of
LanBridge while maintaining access to the Internet for other
   client PCs.
* The trial period has been changed to 30 days after installation.
* It is now required to register the Internet LanBridge product.

   Fixed bugs:
   -----------

   Version 1.35.2

* Eudora light and other e-mail clients sometimes would hang
while sending e-mail with a file attached.

   Version 1.35.1

* MailBridge would cause LanBridge to dial out at startup for
   no reason.
* The LanBridge server would crash on some Windows 95 systems
when MailBridge was installed and a DNS domain name configured.
The crash would happen when reading mail from MailBridge
   on the server.

   Version 1.35

* The Windows NT DHCP client service would fail if LanBridge
   was installed.
* Installing the LanBridge server on a Windows NT system with
Internet MailBridge installed would not update the service
   dependency list of MailBridge correctly.
* LanBridge would fail on Windows NT when loggin in as a
   non-administrator.
* Closing one application would interfer with other active
networking applications on the same PC when using NetBEUI
to connect to the LanBridge server.
* After the LanBridge server failed to start, starting the server
again after the problem that caused it not to start had been
cleared, would mark the license key as expired.
* LanBridge was not configured properly to work with
   Internet MailBridge for Microsoft Exchange.
* On systems with both LanBridge and MailBridge installed, one client
reading a large email would cause an error when another client
tried to connect to the Internet.
* Using the NetBEUI protocol, some mail clients would hang when
trying to read the mail from the ISP.

   Version 1.34

* Access to secure web sites would fail.
* Internet LanBridge now works with the Quake application.
Note: Remove the line '127.0.0.1 <hostname>' in the hosts file
on the LanBridge server to enable Quake.
* Dialing with an incorrectly configured user name or password
now returns the correct error message.
* Sometimes, dialing the Internet with an incorrect user name
or password from an NT based LanBridge server would cause
   the dialer to retry forever.
* Disabling LanBridge on NT using the LanBridge Switcher and then
rebooting would make the Switcher icon inaccessible.
* Internet LanBridge can now be installed on a PC with Microsoft
   Exchange Server installed.
* With both LanBridge and MailBridge installed, the idle timer
was reset when mail clients poll MailBridge, keeping the connection
to the Internet up all the time.
* Using a 3 user license key, and starting one application on 3
different clients, blocked any other applications from connecting
   to the server.
* Setting access restrictions to allow only World Wide Web access
would prevent Microsoft Internet Explorer from connecting to
   the Internet.
* A problem with allowing access to the Internet only within a
certain time interval was fixed. A user could stay connected
until the allowed session length was exeeded, even if the session
would stretch into the non-allowed time.
* Applications would not run on the LanBridge server PC, if no IPX/SPX
protocol was configured or when using the LanBridge for Microsoft
Networks version. This only happened if NetBEUI was not configured
for both the dial-up adapter and the LAN adapter.
* Pegasus mail would crash when exiting if LanBridge was disabled.
* The 16 bit LanBridge client would crash while displaying the one
minute left of the session warning message.

   Version 1.33

* Netscape 4.01 would crash when exiting.
* Internet LanBridge now works with the MDaemon.
* Closing the LanBridge client dialer while it is locating a
LanBridge server would leave the connecting application hanging.
* Starting more than one application while the LanBridge client
dialer was dialing would leave the second application hanging.
* LanBridge would sometimes crash Windows NT if Client Services
   for Netware enabled.
* The HOSTS file entry for accessing MailBridge from LanBridge
is now removed when un-installing LanBridge. Also, multiple
   entries are no longer generated.

   Version 1.32

* User names in the User Acccess Control list are no longer case
   sensitive.
* Internet LanBridge now works with the WARftp server.
* Some trial license keys did not work.

   Version 1.31
* Installing and un-installing the Internet LanBridge server
many times eventually caused the server to crash when shutting it
   down.
* LbClient.exe would crash on NT 4.0 with MailBridge installed when
   shutting down NT.

   Version 1.30

* Running the server on a PC without IPX configured sometimes
   crashed the server.
* A bug in the client main dialog when using large font made it
cut off the lower part of the dialog.
* The LanBridge server would sometimes not start correctly on
   a Windows NT platform.
* The dial status now shows the correct status on a Windows 95
   platform.
* The Internet LanBridge Administrator always dialed the Internet
even if no host names needed to be resolved.

   This version supersedes previous versions.
