to that for the retail version, described later, except that you must run
the uninstall that comes with the Demo from the demo install directory.

Installation of Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander for OS/2 Warp only requires that
you either:

Log to your floppy drive, type "Install", then following the prompts, or

Select the "Drive A:" icon in your launch pad, select the Install program,
 then follow the prompts.

Please note that the install procedure requires two steps, with a shut down

If you have problems running the Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander for OS/2 Warp,

Ctrl-Alt-Del Commander for OS/2 Warp depends upon it's own keyboard driver
for operation!

If the system gives a "Trap D in KBD$" error when rebooting after installation,
check your OS2 boot drive to make sure that the only KBDBASE.SYS file that
exists is in the \OS2\BOOT directory. You can solve this problem by rebooting
your system, using Ctrl-Alt-Del, then when "OS/2" appears in the top left
corner of your screen pressing Alt-F1. This results in a list of recovery
choices being displayed. Choose the "Command Line" option.
At the command line prompt, do your search for stray "KBDBASE.SYS" files by
typing "DIR KBDBASE.SYS /S".

This will show all the "KBDBASE.SYS" files that are on the boot disk.
Remove (or rename) any that aren't in the OS2\BOOT directory. Once this is
done, type exit, and the system should reboot properly.

The Install utility is run after system shutdown and startup from the icon
placed on your desktop during the first part of the installation. This is
the second phase of the installation.

If you are unable to complete this second phase you will not be able to
install the CAD Commander Control Panel.

If you have Warp (red or blue spine) with no fixpacks or fixpacks less than
10 and "Object Desktop" installed, updating to Fix Pack 17 fixes this problem.

If you do not have "Object Desktop" installed you should not encounter any
problems. Updating to the latest "Object Desktop" (1.51 as of this writing)
may also fix the problem.

from the floppy drive.
