Please read these brief instructions before installing the software.

This software should have arrived with you as a zipped or stuffit
archive (dependant upon your operating platform). It is not
distributed by Genesis UK in any other form. If you have received
this software in any other form, please contact Genesis UK as
detailed below to obtain a proper and approved version.

THIS SOFTWARE IS SHAREWARE. That means that you are free to try it
for a reasonable period of time (10 to 14 days) completely free of
charge. After this period and if you intend to keep using the
software you should pay to the author the appropriate sum for a
licence to do so. Full details of regsitration and payment are
included in the software.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: WINDOWS 95/NT...

Launch (double click or open) the 'Impulse SetUp.exe' file which
will run the Impulse Setup Wizard for you. Follow the onscreen
instructions to install the software. 

Unless you specifically object for some reason, it is recommended 
that you leave all settings at their defaults which will install 
the following:

A new folder in your Program Files folder called Imppgm.
A new folder in your Start Menu called Impulse.
A new icon (short cut) on your desktop called Impulse.

The Imppgm folder contains all the program files for Impulse,
and it should be noted that the Setup does not install or modify
any files outside of this folder. The Start Menu Impulse folder
contains short cuts to both the Impulse program, and the on line
help files. 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: MACINTOSH/PPC...

Double click the Impulse.sea file and extract the contents to a
new folder of your choice.

Once the software is installed, please read the Principles of 
Operation and Getting Started sections of the user guide, 
before running the software. You cannot hurt anything by running 
it immediately of course, but it will help to have an understanding 
of it's functions and operation before doing so.

These notes accompany the Shareware version of Impulse.

Please feel free to distribute the original zip file as required.

Please do not distribute any of the individual unzipped files.

and notes, including this ReadMe filea and the terms.txt file.
