"CyanBlob" in their names is only for mnemonic purposes.

4. Now, set some keyirames for the "Colr' null, for instance starting at XYZ: O, 255, 255 for
frame O and XYZ: O, O, 255 for frame 30. Now, set some keyframes for the Fade nuil...say, X:
0.0 at frame O and X: 0.5 at frame 30. The resulting animation should show a luminous cyan
blob afrecting your object at frame O, changing to a partially effecting blue blob at frame 30.
What we have done is create what are called "attribute" effectors, specially named nulls
parented to the effector. where each attribute of the parent can be animated by
animating these nulls. In this case, we controlled the color and fade value of the surface
effector by animating the attribute effector nulls.
