iNTRODUCTiON

DragLaunch enables you to start eight of your favourite programs by
simply drawing a line with your mouse on the screen.
No more complicated hotkeys, no more wasted space for huge toolbars
and icons. Silently running in the background DragLaunch offers the
fastest way to launch programs!

FEATURES

- Fast and time-saving launching of your eight favourite programs by
simply drawing a line with the mouse.
- DragLaunch offers an easy-to-use yet fully configurable environment
also comprehensible for less experienced users.
- DragLaunch runs silently in the background sitting in the system tray
(the area next to the system clock in the taskbar).
- You can choose which mousebutton to use and if it should work on all
windows or only on the desktop to avoid interferences with other
  programs.

iNSTALLATiON

Installation is easy. As you have obviously been able to unzip this
archive it is now your task to run 'setup.exe' by doubleclicking it
in the Explorer or elsewhere. After that you will be guided through
the rest of the installation.

UNiNSTALLATiON

Uninstallation is easy too. Just launch 'Add/Remove Programs' out of
the control panel, highlight 'DragLaunch' and click the
'Add/Remove...' button. The uninstallation will then proceed
automatically.

FiRST STEPS

Start DragLaunch by doubleclicking its icon in the DragLaunch group.
What you see now is the main window of DragLaunch. On the left there
are the eight possible mouse moves represented by arrows with different
angles each having its own textbox to the right of it. For a first
testing purpose there will be 'notepad.exe' in the topmost textbox.
Check if the options on the right of the window are set to right
mousebutton usage and 'works on all windows'. Move your mouse pointer
anywhere, hold the right mousebutton while drawing a line straight
down and release the mousebutton. Notepad should have been launched
right now.

Now you can enter your favourite programs into the textboxes. Every
entry is invoked by the mouse move represented by the arrow on the left.
You can enter the filenames manually or you can use the browse button
on the right of each textbox.

On the right of the DragLaunch window there are three options:
1. 'Hide window on startup'
Check this box if you want DragLaunch to place itself directly into
the background everytime you start it.
2. 'Mousebutton to use'
Choose which mousebutton you want to use for dragging. If you have
a three button mouse the middle mousebutton could be the better
   choice.
3. 'Works on'
If you want DragLaunch to operate only if the mouse is dragged on the
desktop (your background), you can choose it here. There are only
few programs that use the right or middle mousebutton for dragging.
If you surely do not have one use DragLaunch on all windows.

TROUBLESHOOTiNG

- Some programs do not have a simple command line. I.e. you cannot find
it out by using the browse button. In this case just have a look at
the properties dialog by rightclicking the icon of the specific program
and choosing 'Properties'. Choose the tab with the target command line
and transfer it to DragLaunch by copying and pasting.
- Doubleclick the icon in the system tray to open DragLaunch.
- Perform a rightclick on the icon in the system tray to see a
popup menu with 'Open' and 'Exit'.
- Put DragLaunch into the Windows Autostart-folder and check the box
'Hide window on startup' to run it automatically in the background
  on each startup of Windows.
- If DragLaunch does not start a specific program although you drew the
line exactly as it should be, check the command line of the program
  in its textbox.
