INSTALLATION
____________

Install this application with the SETUP.EXE program.
You will be prompted for a directory location for the
CYBERTEL system installation. Numerous support libraries
and files will be copied to your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

WHAT YOU NEED
_____________

You need to have a valid WINSOCK TCP/IP network stack on your
machine, and for you to be connected to a LAN/WAN.

HOW TO USE
__________

Telnet can be used to access remote servers
and hosts which are equipped with a Telnet Daemon
or server process.

To connect to a remote server, use the Session | Connect
menu item. You can disconnect by using the the Session
| Disconnect menu item.

One of the main features of Cybersource Scriptable Telnet is
the ability to create multiple tabs of scripted action commands.

You can add new tabs by right-clicking on the tab-bar with
the mouse, and selecting the Add New Tab Bar pop-up menu item.

There are 7 action buttons on each tab bar. The first tab
will display the buttons 1 to 7, the second tab will display
8 to 14 and so on.

You can assign action commands, or scripts to each button
on each tab, by using the Options | Define Action Buttons
menu item.

To define an Action button, you need to provide a unique
button name (which will appear on the button) as well as
a simple Help message text string, which will appear on the
statusbar. Then you can provide the command text in the
Action Command textbox. In this Action Command textbox
you can ask the Telnet user questions by placing the question
within <ASK> and </ASK> markup delimitters. You can have several
of these in one action button. You can also give the user a
message by using the <SAY> and </SAY> markups. You can insert
a Line Feed in the Action Command textbox by using
Ctrl + Enter buttons.

Here is an example of the Action Command for a Send Mail action:

mail <ASK>What is the username of the person you want to send mail to?</ASK>
<ASK>What is the mail subject about?</ASK>
<SAY>Now enter all the text you need to, and press Enter at the end of each line. When you have finished press Enter to go to a new line, and put a full-stop i.e '.' and press Enter again</SAY>

SCRIPT MARKUPS
______________

<ASK> </ASK> will ask the user a question. Whatever is in between
the markups will be the question. Whatever the user responds with
will replace the question when sent to the host

Example: <ASK>Who should I send email to?</ASK>

<SAY> </SAY> will display as a message whatever text appears between
the markups.

Example: <SAY>When you are finished, press the <Enter> Key!</SAY>

<ASCII> </ASCII> will accpet a number (0 to 255) between the markups
and pass this through to the host as ASCII text char.

Example: <ASCII>27</ASCII>

[This example will send 'Esc' key to the remote host]

<CLIP> </CLIP> Will capture 'n' seconds of output from when
this command is issued.

Example: <CLIP>4</CLIP>ls -la
[this example will capture 4 seconds of the output from command ls-la]
